He is serving as the Editor of the Journal of Turkish Operations Management. His main teaching and research interests include performance measurement, Fuzzy set, linear programming, and Multi-Criteria Decision-Making.

Babek Erdebilli took his B.Sc degree from the Department of Applied Mathematics in 1996. Then, he attended the M.Sc program in the Industrial Engineering Department at Gazi University, Turkey.

He graduated from Gazi University in 2004. Afterward, he attended the Ph.D. program in Industrial Engineering at Gazi University.

Erdebilli was awarded a grant by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Education and he was a Research Fellow at the Toronto University, Canada (2011-2012) and Post Doc Auburn University, USA (2015-2016).
