Summary of 12th International Conference on Challenges in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management
12th International Conference on Challenges in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management took place in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara, Turkey on September 11-12, 2018. The conference organizer was Canadian Institute for Knowledge Development (www.CIKD.ca)
The main theme of NCM 2018 was New Challenges in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. The conference also covered research including MCDM, DEA, Optimization Techniques, Operation Management, fuzzy logic, and stochastic methods analysis.
We were glad to have Assoc. Prof Dr. Babek ERDEBİLLİ (B.D Rouyendegh) from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University as conference chairman and also Asst Prof Dr. Abdullah YILDIZBAŞI from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University as co-chair.
Having such well-known professors as keynote speakers was a great honor:
Ali Emrouznejad is a Professor and Chair in Business Analytics at Aston Business School, UK.
Serkan Eryilmaz was honored by Science Incentive Award thanks to his highly qualified studies on system reliability in the field of stochastic models/processes in operations research.
