To become a professional “search ninja”, you should know a few tips to search Google that would help you easily find information.

Google is the world’s most famous and powerful search engine that has changed the way to find information. To use this tool perfectly, you should learn some tricks and tips to help you easily find information on Google.

If you use Google knowing no tricks and shortcuts to get the most out of Google search, it is like buying an expensive automobile but not knowing how to drive!

In the previous blog post, you were introduced with some tips to become a professional google searcher, “a search ninja.”

Here, you can study some other tips:

8. Reverse Image Search

You can find the related image results by inserting an image in the search box on Chrome, Firefox and Safari. For this, you should type Search Google for image on your browser and then drag and drop a picture in the search bar.

10. Comparison by “vs”

In order to receive side-by-side comparisons of two items at a time, put “vs” between them and you can receive all information on their similarities and differences.

11. Voice Search

There is a little microphone on your Google search box by which you can search by voice. This function is only supported in the Chrome browser at this time.

12. Use ~ for Synonyms

Use the ~ sign to get synonyms related to your query. For example, if you type cuisine ~ shrimp in the Google search box, you will receive exact results for cuisine along with words similar to shrimp, like cuisines around the world containing shrimp.

13. Definition

If you need to quickly look up the definition of a word or phrase, simply use the define: word.

14. Intitle

Intitle tells Google to show only results with a specific word in the title.

15. Allintitle

Allintitle asks Google to show only results that include every word in the title.

16. AROUND(n)

The AROUND(n) is a kind of Google search operator to find results where two words appear within (n) words of each other. To specify the proximity of your search terms use the AROUND(n) operator. For example, if you use “Gomez AROUND(1) bieber” on Google search box, you are asking Google to show you results where Gomez and Bieber appear in close proximity to each other. If you want to extend the range a bit, increase the number (e.g. AROUND(2), AROUND(3), etc.).
