There are key challenges in the education market; the number of the competitors in this market can be addressed as one the most critical among them. There are many rivals in this market that are seeking to increase their market share. On the other, market entry is not highly risky in the education market so it attracts many potential competitors. Meanwhile, the spread of coronavirus unpredictability boomed virtual learning methods. The ease of accessibility to virtual learning for both trainers and trainees made the number of the competitors even more. This makes every entity in the education industry in need of a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Marketing in the Education industry is an activity in which educational material is being introduced. Marketing activities help both educational institutes and trainees.

A good education marketing strategy can be very effective in attracting the individuals who are in need of what we offer. Having an effective marketing plan is gaining increasing importance as the world becomes more interconnected and communications make the accessibility to educational materials and online courses easier than any other time. Hence, having a smart and supporting marketing plan in such a market is crucial.

This market plan should include outstanding and appropriate insights and programs in order to survive and progress in this highly competitive environment. In this environment technological change occurs rapidly and affects the whole industry greatly. Therefore, an effective marketing plan should set realistic goals in accordance with the business environment and technological advancements which have made innovation and creativity an essential element in the education market.

A proper marketing plan should include studying and addressing current trends and virtual learning methods as the most important one trend. Major advancements in technology have had a great impact on the educational methods. The spread of COVID 19 also made a drastic change in learning and teaching methods. The education market has been continually expanded due to the flexibility and chances that transformed education methods have initiated. So a comprehensive marketing program should definitely address the new popular trends.

Another important issue in an appropriate marketing plan is the decision about the route to get access to the target market. The fact that a considerable number of people have access to online networks and social platforms should be regarded in every marketing plan. This will pave the way to reach potential trainees.  This is why online advertising is important.  Many people use the internet as a source for finding training programs. The Internet allows potential trainees to find the exact training material and institute. Therefore, having an inclusive website which addresses the diverse needs of the audiences is also important because it is the first touch point for potential audiences.  In the website there should be a mechanism to receive the viewpoints of the audiences. This will let institutes to find out about the hidden educational needs of the potential customers and real viewpoints of the current trainees. Knowing about these viewpoints will be a great help in addressing the opportunities and shortages.  Audience feedback can also be a useful base for future marketing research.  Meanwhile, audience reviews are meaningful for those who show interest in the educational service we offer. These reviews which are available on the website can either attract the potential new target audiences or make them revise their plan to choose us.

Promoting and introducing online learning platforms is also an important type of marketing strategies that can help our business to grow rapidly.

Finally, having an inclusive marketing strategy creates a considerable competitive advantage for the institutes who aim to survive and grow in this market.  A detailed marketing strategy that covers relevant issues from new trends in the education market to infrastructure required to launch online course platforms, will significantly affect the institute’s success to increase their market share.
