Fernando José Garrigós Simón. Ph.D. in Management and Associate Professor in the Department of Business Organization, Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (Spain). MSc in Tourism Management and Planning, Bournemouth University. Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Valencia. He has stayed as visiting professor (for teaching or/and researching purposes) at several universities in France, Finland, Germany, USA, UK, Australia, Bolivia, Singapore, Taiwan or Thailand (at prestigious universities such as the University of Miami, University of Sydney, or Singapore Management University). His primary areas of research include Tourism Management and Planning, Strategic Management, or IT Management and the development of new business models. He has developed diverse international research and teaching projects. He has published in international books and journals such as Annals of Tourism Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, International Journal of Innovation Management, International Journal of Technology Management, Journal of Knowledge Management, Small Business Economics, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, Journal of Air Transport Management, Management Decision, The Service Industries Journal or this year in Tourism Management, and Tourism Economics. He is a member of the editorial board of some international journals such as Tourism Today, Journal of Tourism (Revista de Turismo), Ecoforum, American Journal of Industrial and Business Management, American  Journal of Management Studies, Revista de Análisis Turístico, or Cuadernos de Turismo.
