Mary Jo Hatch Joined IJOL’s Editorial Board
It is our immense pleasure to announce that Professor Mary Jo Hatch has joined the editorial board of IJOL as an Honorary Editorial Member. IJOL is a JOURNAL OF IMAGINATIVE BUSINESS IDEAS. Mary Jo Hatch received her B.A. degree in English Literature and her M.B.A. degree in Finance from Indiana University. Also she received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior at Stanford University, Stanford, California. Mary Jo Hatch is Professor Emerita at McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia and Adjunct and Visiting Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
She researches in the fields of:
- Strategy
- Marketing
- Organization theory
Her areas of expertise include:
- Organization theory
- Organizational culture, identity, and image
- Corporate branding
- Organizational symbolism
- Jazz as a metaphor for leading and organizing
