Dr. AMOL GORE is working as Professor (Operations Management) at the University of Mumbai a/f Institute of Management Studies and Research bvimsr, approved by AICTE, New Delhi. He was the European Commission Scholar for the Post-Doctoral level Research, c/d. (France) at the Management Group, Università Degli Studi di Padova (Italy), and the APICS Scholar (USA) the Association for Operations Management. He holds Doctorate Dr.Sc. (Tech) Industrial Engineering and Management, (EU 89/48/EEC) FIN and Master of Science in Engineering from the Institute of Technology LiTH (Sweden). His Post-Doctoral research papers have been published in journals and his book of over 500 pages in the area of Operations Management has been published by Cengage Learning (2012). Dr. Amol Gore has been faculty for many programs in India and other countries including France, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Mexico, Norway, and Slovenia. He has taught several courses at the MBA/MMS/MS level. In 2014, he was invited as an International Academic Leader at TEC Monterrey and delivered a seminar ‘On the Threshold of Tomorrow’s Operations Management.’ In 2015, he was invited by Blue Dart-DHL Company to conduct a leadership development program. In 2016, he was invited as Visiting Professor in Italy and delivered a seminar for doctoral candidates. He has presented research papers in international conferences and published research papers. He has also worked with reputed companies including the Bajaj Group-Mukand Ltd., Mahindra Group-Mahindra Ugine, and his previous research has been conducted in collaboration with or concurrence of a number of companies from Europe and India. He has also initiated a faculty development program (FDP) that enhances industry-institute collaboration (2012). He was a member of the Review Board of the EBRF (2011), research forum to understand business in the knowledge society. He is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Industrial Engineering and Management. He recently participated in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Conclave held at the Taj, Mumbai (2016), and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry UK India UKIERI Seminar (2016). He was the organizer of the Conference on Business Excellence in 2015.
