Chakchai So-In has been a Professor at the Department of Computer Science at Khon Kaen University since 2010. Dr. So-In received B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Kasetsart University (KU), Bangkok, Thailand, in 1999 and 2001, respectively. He also received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL), MO, USA, in 2006 and 2010, all in computer engineering. In 2003, Dr. So-In was an Internet Working Trainee in a CNAP program (sponsored by Cisco Systems) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and obtained Cisco Career Certifications ( e.g., CCNP/ CCDP/ MCP). In summer 2006, Dr. So-In was a student intern at mobile IP division, Cisco Systems, CA USA. Dr. So-In was also intern at WiMAX Forum and Bell Labs during summer 2008 and 2010. His research interests include mobile computing and pervasive sensor networks, architectures for future wireless networks/next generation wireless networks and future Internet; congestion controls in high speed networks; protocols to support network and transport mobility, multihoming, and privacy. He has several publications in prestigious journals (More than 50 Journals/Proceedings) including IEEE, JSAC, and IEEE Communication / Wireless Communication Magazines and Computer Networks. He has served as a committee member and reviewer for many prestigious conference and journals such as ICNP, WCNC, ICC, ICNC, ICCCN, and PIMRC; and IEEE Trans. on Wireless Commun., Vehicular Technology, Mobile Computing, Broadcasting, IEEE Commun. Mag., IEEE Commun. Letter, IEEE Systems Journal, IJDSN, Journal of High Speed Networks, Wireless Networks, WCMC, Computer Commun., Computer Networks, Management Sciences, TS, and JWCN.
