I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. I received my Ph.D. degree and M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology (USA) in 2011 and 2009. Before pursuing my graduate study in the USA, I worked as a software engineer and received my B.S. degree in Software Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (China) in 2006.

Research Expertise

My research interests include, but not limited to, Information Security, Multimedia Processing, Digital Forensics, Mobile Computing, Computer Networks, Bioinformatics, Data Mining, Machine Intelligence and Computational Applications.
