Isti Surjandari is Professor and Head of Statistics and Quality Engineering Laboratory in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. she was born in Jakarta, September 15th, 1963. She was graduated from Mechanical Engineering, the University of Indonesia in 1987. Then, she obtained her Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1990. Mrs. Surjandari continued her study at the Ohio State of University and obtained an MA in 2000. Not being satisfied with her previous achievements, Mrs. Surjandari obtained her Ph.D. from Ohio State of University in 2002.

Mrs. Isti Surjandari currently becomes Head of Statistics and Quality Engineering Laboratory, Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Indonesia. She is also a member of the Academic Senate, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia. From 2009, Mrs. Surjandari also becomes a member of the American Society of Quality.

Her research interests are in the area of industrial management, quality engineering, statistical analysis, and data mining.
