Chee Fai AMN PEng Ph.D. is a practicing mechanical and manufacturing consultant. He is graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and M. Sc. (Manufacturing Systems Engineering) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), as well as a Ph.D. in Industrial Design Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), the Netherlands. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Mechanical) with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (2006), ASEAN Charted Professional Engineer, APEC Engineer, and International Professional Engineer. In addition, Chee Fai is a Fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering & Technology and a Fellow of Institution of Engineers, Malaysia. He is the JCI Ten Outstanding Young Malaysian Award 2014 Honoree. In addition, he is the recipient of Member of the Order of the Defender of the Realm (A.M.N.) (Ahli Mangku Negara) by Malaysian Federal in 2015 based on his meritorious service to Malaysia. He actively involved in the consultation, professional services as well as voluntary activities to assist small and medium industry and engineering education. His field of expertise covers the aspects of mechanical and manufacturing engineering. He has vast experience in the mechanical design of machinery, robotics, intelligent products, and commercial vehicles. He is the winner of various local and international product design awards. He has lead numbers of university and Malaysia Government funded projects as well as international funded projects. He is a qualified HRDF trainer, NIOSH Trainer, and HRDF Recognition Prior Learning (RPL) Assessor.
