Professor Gia Sirbiladze is a leading expert in the field of intelligent simulation modeling, decisionmaking problems in uncertain environments, systems research and engineering and others. He is an authorand editor of more than 90 papers and two monographs in expert knowledge engineering and decisionmaking problems in uncertain environments. His Research Interest in Computer Science also includes systems science and engineering, fuzzy technologies in decision-making support systems, extreme dynamic systems – control, filtration and identification, fuzzy discrete optimization problems in management. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching and research at the Iv. JavakhishviliTbilisi State University.
(JTSU), Georgia. He is a Full Professor of applied informatics in at the Department of Computer Sciences ofJTSU. His major teaching areas are simulation and modeling, intelligent systems, fuzzy technologies in intelligent decision making systems and others.
He has participated in several TEMPUS and INTAS projects in the Southern Caucasus from 1997-2004 and was a leader of several projects of the Georgian National Scientific Foundation from 2006-2012. He has undertaken research consultancy in the problems of strategic decision making for various enterprises and companies in Georgia. He is a member of several international societies of computer sciences and engineering: IEEE, WSEAS, IFSR, and others. He also is a member of an editorial board of various international journals in computer sciences.
