Professor Dedousis has worked in the Greek Sugar Industry, the Lisbon Stock Exchange, and multinational corporations including National Panasonic, 3M, Toyota, and Oy E Sarlin. Before joining AUD he was a faculty in Griffith University Australia, The American University of Beirut, King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, and had also short-term appointments in universities in Japan and Singapore.

Scholarly contributions of Professor Dedousis include chapters in books published by Routledge, IGI Global, Longman, Academic Press and articles that have appeared in the Journal of Management, Higher Education, Journal of Managerial Psychology Journal of Islamic Marketing, Journal of Cross-Cultural Management, Journal of Marketing and Operations Management Research, and Industry and Higher Education. Professor Dedousis has received the Provost’s Award for Outstanding Research and was included in the Academic Keys Who’s Who in Business Higher Education.

Professor Dedousis’ most recent research analyzes mission statements and strategies of business schools in the UAE and was published in the electronic journal of Business Education & Scholarship of Teaching (e-JBEST). His other research interests include workforce localization in the GCC, corporate culture, and cross-cultural management.

Professor Dedousis is the Editor-in-Chief of the Review of Educational Theory, Co-Editor of the International Journal of Economics and Business Administration, and an editorial board member in the Arabian Journal of Business and Management Review, and the Journal of Educators Online.

Consulting activities of Professor Dedoussis include a series of leadership development seminars for senior academic personnel from universities in Nigeria and training sessions in cross-cultural management, corporate culture, and organizational design. He has also chaired external committees evaluating academic programs in several universities in Greece.
